Dreaming Of A Getaway

Our friends are planning vacations and packing up to hit the road. Not us!

If you have followed my blog, you know that there have been.....well, obstacles to vacationing for the past few years.  But, I have dreams! Boy, do I have dreams.

The hubs and I need a little getaway and hopefully that will be on the books soon. No kids. Just us. 

Don't you love it when you get to be alone on a trip and just reconnect? Everyone should do that!

The man in my life has been to Las Vegas, but I have never been. I know that I would love it, though!

I dream of staying at the Bellagio.

I always think of Ocean's Eleven when I see this hotel. I love that movie.  

Their rooms are gorgeous and the grounds are amazing!

Who wouldn't want to relax in the lap of luxury?

Southwest Airlines Vacations makes it so much more affordable with their Las Vegas Vacations packages. 

You can choose from resorts like the Mirage, the MGM Grand, and New York-New York, just to name a few.

Some of their bundles come with show tickets and meals to make your trip even more memorable. (I remember my husband talking about the amazing shows that he went to see while on his trip to Las Vegas!)

They have some great benefits, too. Like THE BAGS FLY FREE! Always! 

I just returned from a business trip to Washington, DC, if you remember, and the baggage fees were ridiculous! I guess most airlines think they've got ya since you don't want to wear the same clothes for a week.....or, run around nakey! (Well, maybe you do!)

And, if you have to make changes to your package at the last minute, get this...they don't charge you! And, we all know that changes happen when you're trying to get away on a romantic vacation, right?

I have a confession to make.

I have a slight obsession with Infographics.

Whew! I'm so glad I got that off my chest!

I just think that they are so cool.  I have even tried (and failed) making my own.

It isn't as easy as it looks.

You have to make them look just right and get the right information in there for them to be really.....informative.

I have an entire Pinterest Board dedicated to Infographics.
